OFFICE DEPARTMENT: ENGINEERING (STRUCTURAL)
|
Dutchland, Inc. is searching for candidates who are interested in working in our Structural Engineering Department.
This full-time daytime position is compensated on an hourly basis with the potential for overtime.
Essential Duties:
- Provide structural engineering for precast concrete structures manufactured by Dutchland, Inc.
- Review structural drawings by the Drafting Department for submittal purposes and manufacturing.
- Work with outside reviewing engineers as well as engineers within the company and associated departments.
- Work well both independently and with a team.
- Possess problem solving skills.
- Communicate with coworkers on a daily basis in a positive and responsive manner to accomplish the goals of Dutchland, Inc.
- Possess good verbal communication skills with the ability to exercise good judgment.
- Handle multiple task requests as necessary.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements:
- B.S. Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis
Experience Requirements:
- Precast Concrete engineering.
- Structural knowledge and education.
Technical Skills:
- Computing in general.
- Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets)
- Drafting experience is considered to be a plus.
