Dutchland received its third project in 2016 in New York. Veolia Water has awarded a contract to Dutchland for 264 precast nozzle slabs and 360 precast channel covers for the Binghamton-Johnson City Joint Sewage Treatment Plant in Vestal, NY. The treatment plant is retrofitting their existing cast-in-place structure which was heavily damaged due to flooding and old age. The Owner is planning on building additional chambers as well as replacing their biological filter with the Kruger Biostyr process. Installation is scheduled for spring 2017.

This project is a collaboration between Dutchland, Veolia Water, and PC Construction, the general contractor for the job. The Binghamton-Johnson City project will be Dutchland’s fifth nozzle slab project with Veolia Water and the fourth project with PC Construction.
