During the flood of September 2021 caused by hurricane Ida the Pickering creek water treatment plant was inundated with flood waters which completely destroyed a steel water tank
Recovery efforts turned to emergency replacement of the capacity lost.
Pickering creek turned to Dutchland to partner on developing a solution to return the plants lost capacity. Through the partnership a solution was design to not only replace the lost capacity but also provide the plant with an upgraded treatment strategy.

Tight and challenging site – tank was placed in what was an existing pond that was drained to become the new location for the clearwell tank.
Needed to design the tank to accommodate large 48in influent and effluent pipe
Collaborative design/build process our team was turned to, to create the solution from the early stages
